(a) For ambulatory services provided, the following fees shall be amended and adopted as follows:
(1) A0426 (ALS Non-emergency) $475.00
(2) A0427 (ALS 1 Emergency) $750.00
(3) A0428 (BLS Non-emergency) $425.00
(4) A0429 (BLS Emergency) $600.00
(5) A0433 (ALS 2 Emergency) $900.00
(6) A0425 (mileage) $15.00
(7) A0390 (ALS Medicaid Mileage) $15.00
(8) A0380 (BLS Medicaid Mileage) $15.00
(b) After three (3) non-transport calls for the same individual in any twelve (12) month period, a fee of $100.00 will be assessed to the individual for each non-transport call thereafter. The twelve (12) month period will be determined by a review of the twelve (12) months immediately preceding each non-transport call to that individual.

The governing body of the city deems it expedient and necessary to establish a separate fund in the city treasury for the purpose of receiving contributions and moneys and paying the costs for purchasing ambulances, equipment and supplies necessary for improving the existing ambulance services now provided by the city.

In order to provide moneys in such fund, the governing body hereby authorizes and accepts all moneys donated and contributed to or to be donated and contributed to such fund. The use of the moneys in such fund shall be restricted to allow only the purchase of new ambulances and equipment necessary for an ambulance service. No moneys received for the purposes of this fund shall be used for operating and maintenance of the ambulance service operated by the city.

The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to establish a separate fund in the account records of the city to be entitled Ambulance Contribution Fund. Adequate and proper accounting procedures shall be established for recording all receipts and disbursements of moneys made in connection with the use of such fund. The fund shall be budgeted and regulated each year in accordance with the budget and cash basis laws in the Kansas Statutes Annotated except as provided in this article.

The governing body hereby authorizes and appropriates all disbursements, if any, that may be required to be made, during the period herein stated, the same as if such disbursements had been included in the applicable budget year. A statement of such disbursements are hereby authorized and appropriated shall be included in the next and each succeeding annual budget for the city at the time such budgets are prepared, published and finally adopted.

All moneys in this fund shall be invested at all times in accordance with the provisions of this code and interest earned thereon shall be credited to this fund.
